It's hard living away from the water. I've adjusted over the years but for the first 18 years of my life I looked out my window every day and saw it. It's one of those things that just sets my heart at ease.
I don't discriminate against fresh water though:
A cool drink of water
A hot bath
Days on the lake
What cures what ails you?
I totally agree... I have to have my beach fix at least twice a year or I get sad. Very well written.
